Su Tungpo, a literary giant in Song Dynasty, wrote a poem for his dog and said "Knowing that I was returning from north, you shook your tail and was so happy that felt like dancing. Jumping up to play with boy servant made yourself gasp and sweat like rain. You refused to walk along bridge to cross the river but swimming in the clear and deep river." In this poem we know how his dog was brisk and agile, and how he loved his dog.
