台灣藍鵲(學名:Urocissa caerulea),又叫台灣暗藍鵲、長尾山娘(POJ:Tng-boe Soan-niu),為台灣特有種。連雅堂撰台灣通史於卷二十八虞衡志作練雀,記遊云:「俗稱長尾山娘,翠翼朱喙,光彩照人。」全球僅台灣島內山地有本物種分布。分布於低海拔的闊葉林,台灣藍鵲的羽色特別深濃。
Formosan Blue Magpie, scientific name Urocissa caerulea , also called Formosan Dark Blue Magpie and Long-tailed Mountain Mother, is an endemic species in Taiwan. In Lian-Heng' s book, The General History of Taiwan, chapter twenty-eight Yu-Heng-Chi said that "commonly known as Long-tailed Mountain Mother, with emerald wings and scarlet beak is brilliant and sparkling." Taiwan is the only habitat forFcrmosan Blue Magpie on Earth. They distribute in broadleaf forest at lower altitudes. The color of their feathers are especially deep and thick.

藍鵲壺組製作工藝是於坯體成形後,先經800c素燒後,噴上一層底釉,在外層再掛一次釉,第二次入窯高溫燒成。應用二釉色在高溫時熔融、相疊處產生無可預期的變化,此為雙掛釉技法。
藍色雙掛釉交織成景,猶如大自然的變化無窮無盡,時如雲彩奔騰於廣闊無際的天邊,時如浪花激起海天一色。每個作品都是一幅天然的美景,獨一無二、氣韻無窮。壺身上再以手工彩繪臺灣保育珍禽一藍鵲,優雅地展翅飛向天際,為美麗的大地,寫出動人的詩篇。
The production process of Blue Magpie Painted Teapot Set is that after the porcelain is shaped, uses 800'C biscuit firing, and sprays on a bottom layer of glaze, then sprays again on the outer layer. After that, puts it in the kiln and firing with high-temperature the second time. Application on two glazes melt at high temperatures, unpredictable changes at where overlaps, is the double-hung glaze techniques.
Blue double-hung glaze techniques interweaves into the scene, like the nature changes endlessly. Sometimes like clouds galloping in vast sky, sometimes like spindrifts arouse the sky and sea. Every pieces is a natural beauty, unique and artistically infinite. On the pot body, with hand-painted Taiwan Blue Magpie, a protected species of rare birds, gracefully soaring to the sky, writes moving poems for beautiful earth.

※釉層要有一定的厚度,入窯高溫使釉產生流動感,造成的釉裂紋,是屬正常現象。
